Evie’s movement practice looks at the importance of our connection to nature and human evolution. Working with the earth to feed energy into movement, to then return it back, we are in a constant cycle. Maintaining a subtlety through the spine is an important aspect of keeping our body engaged and can help us shift stagnant energy to reconnect our body and mind. Evie’s methods have developed from an experimental and broad range of movement practices that she respects deeply. Having a background in contemporary dance, ballet, house and hip hop has provided her with a solid dance foundation.

As well as dance, she also practices Fighting Monkey, acrobatics, and movement from Ido Portals method. Evie continues to find new ways to move, challenging her knowledge on the body’s ability. Her classes explore these elements through guided exercises, structured strength training, improvisation exploration and choreographic phrases. Evie also works one-on-one with clients for differing needs. Whether it be dance coaching, or postural and strength work, Evie loves witnessing the progression of each person.

Evie has recently been coaching NDIS-supported clients with TLC Mind & Body across the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers, supporting individuals through movement, strength, and confidence-building. Alongside this, she teaches dance at schools throughout the region and facilitates workshops for Balance Yoga Studios, private events, and community groups.

Whether working with individuals or groups, Evie is passionate about creating supportive environments where people can explore movement, build confidence, and develop a deeper connection with themselves, and their relationship to place.

Please don't hesitate to get in touch for coaching, workshops, or collaboration opportunities.
